Message just for the searchers LOL!

My wait time varies ALOT! First off boots if they are in stock ship ASAP! OEM are always in stock and most of the time...so are J-Spec. Anything else....2-4 weeks! Unless i happen to have a set (i make one extra set allot of the time when something custom gets done) I have to buy the leather...get it delivered or go pick it up...then they have to be cut and stitched then shipped. It takes time.

Interiors - MUCH more difficult to quote accurate wait times...most due to no fualt of my....though i have dropped the ball on many occasions. Basically....it really depends on WHEN you order. Now is a VERY VERY good time. I had alot of orders for the show season...and next week im done with almost all of them and pretty clear for production the next week. If you were to order last week....it would have sat until Thursday when i took delivery of materials. EVEN if its vinyl!!!!! If you get embroidery....thats a week down...sometimes 8-10 days depending on whats going on over there at their shop. I do only 2-4 peices at a time so im sure im LOW priority. Just the way it is.

Once i get it back....then the fun starts. First need to cut the patterns.....then they get stitched. If its a trim kit...it could be 2 days to 10 days...no telling 1/2 the time. My shop is REALLY REALLY REALLY bad about that! Thats the main thing that makes ME late. For an entire interior....we have eaten up 10 days on materials and embroidery...and thats IF you dont order some off the wall color....then i may not be able to get the leath or vinyl for weeks....so we cut patterns and then off to stitching. If you go look at your seats....theres about 50 peices.....its about 14-20 hours of labor for a set....dont forget every single peice is glues to foam...which also has to be cut. All of this happens while the shop does other things for other accounts. It may wait 2 weeks to get ANYTHING then BAAAMMMMM I get a ton of stuff done. Its the luck of the draw sometimes. It makes it tough....but then again after 400 sets of boots and 60 sets of seats or so....i have had ONE set of seats returned becuase the did not fit (they fit our test seats OK but not as good as they should) and very few boots....so its worth it to me to wait despite the MAJOR problem associated with customer service - but im willing to bite the bullit becuase they are VERY GOOD! Its a catch 22!

I cant go hire stitchers this good....nor do i generate enough business to support the cost. Im at the mersy of my manufacturing.

Thats the reason for mis-quoting. Basically....it boils down to me getting pushed back which pushes delivery time back. MY problem in this is I dont have enough time to sit and email people weekly updates...which requires countless phone calls to the shop and so on. I do what I can with the time i have. You may have noticed i have not been on much this week. Its been NUTS!!!!

Hope this sheds a little light for those in a crunch or rush!
